Shonn was born in California but has called Maine home since the age of three, returning to the state where his family has lived for generations. A true, down-to-earth Mainer, he grew up in Kittery and enjoyed everything the seacoast had to offer. He later moved to the Portland area to attend the University of Southern Maine, where he earned a B.A. in History. Since 1994, Shonn has been deeply rooted in the Greater Portland area—a place he fell in love with during college and proudly calls home.
His passion for community involvement runs deep. He’s served two terms on the Gorham Town Council (2006–2009 and 2012–2015), currently serves on the Windham Planning Board (since 2023), and has volunteered countless hours coaching Babe Ruth and Little League softball. Shonn’s love for history, old homes, and community naturally led him into real estate.
A hands-on home improvement enthusiast, he’s always enjoyed working on renovation projects and sharing design advice. Even before becoming a licensed NAR member in 2016, he had already bought and sold several properties himself giving him practical, relatable insight. In 2018, he became a licensed Real Estate Appraiser, adding a valuable dimension to his expertise.
By 2021, Shonn launched The Moulton Group to provide clients with more personalized, independent service. As both a Real Estate Broker and Appraiser, Shonn offers a comprehensive understanding of the Maine market. He’s committed to helping his clients reach their goals with honesty, diligence, and a clear plan.
He believes that with the right starting point and a focused vision, anything is possible. Clients describe Shonn as approachable, responsive, and always available whether it’s a quick question, a serious conversation, or just time for a good laugh.
Outside of real estate, Shonn loves spending time with his wife Emily, daughter Sage, stepson William, and their beloved pets. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, and traveling whenever he can.
